Marine Conservation Scientist
World Wildlife Fund (WWF), the global conservation organization leading international efforts for a living planet, seeks a highly motivated Marine Scientist to join the Conservation Science Program. The position will entail blending research with conservation application, providing scientific advice to program staff; and developing guidelines on emerging marine conservation issues. The ideal candidate will have a Ph.D. in a related field. At least three years of conservation experience, strong statistical, data management, and grant writing skills, and familiarity with GIS. Willingness and ability to work independently and travel frequently, often to remote locations, required.
