today had the career talks.. i chose to go for British Council n IDP (aust) talks. university of tasmania was said to haf one of the best marine science courses in australia.. that's what me n boonkiat wants to take up.. but.. can i go there? there r quite a number of issues tt will prevent me from enrolling there..
1) results. Will i be good enough to get a international student slot there? australian schools only offer a certain number of vacancies to foreign students.. esp wif tt school being one of the top aust universities.
2) money. cant go there without a scholarship, according to my parents. they nt willing to fork out huge sum of money juz for my oversea edu. so how? buy toto every week lar.
3)future jobs. if i take up marine science, my job options would be quite limited. working in sentosa's underwater world? seems like if i study tt i've to work oversea or something. sigh.
guess there's no point in thinking so much now.. juz gotta do well in exam to give myself more options when the day comes.
