Been busy n lazy to update the blog these few days.
anyway had service learning wth yishun student care centre on 10th .. was the arts workshop. i missed the sci workshop. the kids were quite adorable.. cute .. my handling of kids werent good coz i nv had a younger siblings.. but i tink i did fairly ok with them. most memorable was glenn.. some kid tt ran ard the whole day.. extremely naughty. but to my amazement i was told he was damn shy n quiet on the first hour of the first workshop on 9th! omg. he opened up after he got to know our class better.. but i wish he hadnt open up so much =
played the bball game at ard 7+ tt day.. the weather did no good to us as it was still drizzling when our game started.. wet courts which inhibit our movements.. but the refs of coz dont want to waste time by postponing the game n risked the safety of us all. typical singapore screwed up refs, money n time matters to them. but since we had qualified n with a number of us carrying injuries, our coach told us to play a relac game with juz outside shooting, no fast break, n not to really challenge for offensive rebounds. with that , our game was limited to 3 pt shooting which obviously got easy to be guarded. the opponent were still playing hard coz they wanted the win, while we were ok with any result. so we lost by ard 10 pts. however somehow our coach got hold of a rumour that their team had an illegal non-sgrean players. now they may get disqualified since our coach had went to BAS to lodge an complaint (i think). anyway both teams had qualified b4 our game so the outcome of tt match doesnt really matter.
today.. went out with the ri bball gang for some bball, of coz at our old ground, RI.
david's back man. with an darn american accent which he claimed couldnt change. his chinese was still normal though. we had 3 hours of bball with the other old boys n then went for dinner at 8+. had 'zhu chao' or 'zhi cha' like what we call it.v den wanted to watch the jack neo film but unfortunately the seats were sold out. we then bought booze n went on top of the bishan bus interchange carpark n had the drinks. had quite some fun. knew more abt how's my ex from rencong too .. haha the informer.. nt tt what i heard matters.. but it's good to know that she's doing well..
today marks the start of euro2004. i bet it's gonna be portugal 3 - 1 greece. wanted to bet but the pools outlets were closed. nvm test my prediction today. oh darn greece scored. haha.. nvm.. gotta start my first bet in this month.. ok off to watch
