No school yesterday
was having our track n field meet
the first time tt i dint take part in a single events for track meet
was quite shock to see the winning 400m time
coz i could have won gold easily with my sec sch timing of sub 55 secs
was kinda upset, but hell, basketball season is more important
esp. with my current injury-prone status
it's best tt i not put myself into any further risk
feeling the increasing effects of poor knees, hamstring n a ankle still unhealed from a sprain from the first match
it's really not easy for me to try to train now, i'm putting myself into pain tt no one can see or feel
yet of coz i cant just walk out of training
i know i've been stupid n let my frustration gets better of me
but to screw up in a game against a team which was closely linked to u, raffles jc
n then subsequently benched for the rest of the game
even though we were leading by 30 pts.
anyway, vball lost both finals
was there to cheer for them with bernard for the guys game
cheered my throat sore
but in the end, aj lost 2-3 to nyjc
the number 11 from nyjc was superb in his smashes on the crucial day.
but nevertheless.. well done AJ Vball.
it's never been easy to make it to the final.
u guys (n gers) did us proud, nvm the second placing
as long as u all put in ur best effort.
ok that was kinda encouraging myself.. since i've got 2 national silver sitting at home.
first silver came from badminton back in primary 5.. haha from badminton
few would know my history in badminton
but i was in SPEX 2000 n trained for 2+ yrs or so under it.
till i dislocated my right arm n felt too weak in my right hand to play any further
so switch over to basketball in pri 6, where i was a left-hander
kinda funny to be able to do diff things to diff hands. but who cares
second silver came with RI Bball
C div final.. we lost to jurong by a mere 3 pts
i even fouled out in that game. all thx to fucking ref for it.
probably biased towards jurong, the organiser man.
had a few calls which was against me when i dint even touch the opponent.
now seems that all the sports team in aj r mostly out, basketball is one of the few 'surviving' teams gunning for champ
it's not going to be easy, even if we made it to the semis we're up against SAJC or HCJC, the hot favourites
but this probably is my last chance to represent a school.. provided i dont retain.. choy
if we made it to the final,
i fucking hell wouldnt want to make it a third silver in my life.
